Shrove Tuesday: 3 things to look for when booking a pancake caterer for your corporate event

With Easter falling early this year, pancake day is just around the corner!

Celebrating Shrove Tuesday is a fantastic way to treat your team on a cold February day and make them feel valued and appreciated.

Sweet or savoury, there is something for everyone in the office!

1.

Speed

If you have lots of employees within your organisation, make sure that the caterer can produce and serve those pancakes quickly. Quick BUT without sacrificing on taste, presentation and smiley faces!

2.

Health and Safety

Ensure your chosen caterer has all their ducks in order. A 5* hygiene rating is an essential for your pancake caterer.

Plus: Public liability, food safety risk assessment, health & safety risk assessment, fire safety risk assessment, gas certificates, PAT test certificates…

… All the fun stuff to ensure you are covered for your corporate event!

3.

Professionalism

There are lots of pancake caterers out there and you will only want the best for your corporate event.

A couple of ways to check if a caterer is at the top of their game is to:

  • Ask if they create their own pancake mix and toppings i.e what’s homemade and shows that extra bit of love and care
  • Check if they have done events before that are similar to yours and are well experienced in their field
  • Ensure they have quick response times to your queries
